Love with true passion

I bet everyone knows who Ramesses II is, he left a huge impact on me. Well, given so many kings in the olden days, they had loads of wives who were desperate to capture the king's attention. That's sad, isn't it?

I'm not emphasising on any country, but this is really true. I've just finished a book entitled"The Heretic Queen" which was a review on Queen Nefertari's life, and she was a queen greatly loved and adored by Ramesses II. I don't know what she did in her life, but the fact that Ramesses, a respected king who could have anything he wanted, loved her with all his heart and soul, appalled me.

With everyone saying that everlasting love doesn't exist among humans, this information I'm telling now is totally ironic. Well, I would now give you some examples that serve as the evidences of his love for Queen Nefertari.

~ He BUILT a temple of Nefertari beside his collosal monument. That's a really huge honour a queen could get during that time!

~ Queen Nefertari's tomb was lavishly decorated, and is the largest and most spectacular tobm in the Valley of the Queens.

~Queen Nefertari was known as "The One whom the Sun shines for" by Ramesses II.

HOW ROMANTIC! So, at last, true love is proved once again! Cheers!
