Busy weekend

So, i came to check out the blog today and found out that the last post was posted in April. Since it's kinda dead, I'm writing this for fun. *ouch*. Sorry, we can't help it. Do you have any idea how busy we are this year?! And my hectic schedule doesn't just stop there...

It's the starting of the school holidays. The PMR year is over. Perhaps i can get some peace and quiet now, maybe i can finally have some freedom, right? WRONG! The 'fun' is just begining...==" The first weekend of the holidays has just passed. I've planned on spending the weekend sleeping, watching movies, sleeping, eating...and mostly sleeping. Unfortunately, i was born with a curse which is: If I plan to relax, i never get to relax. So sad. Anyway...

#Saturday (20 Nov). What's the big deal about this date?! It seems like EVERYONE wants to have some occasion on that day. Firstly, there was the ICC carnival in the morning which i had to miss. Then our church-PJ SDA English Church- held a special Children's Sabbath. I have to admit, it's pretty cute because everything from the mission report and pastoral prayer to the sermon itself was done by kids...with a little help from the teens class (that's where i come in).

Then, immediately after lunch, the Pathfinder Investiture Service was held. This is when we get promoted to a higher position. The tiring part was the performances-4 in an hour. The worst part is, the only people who listened to us were ourselves. No audience. =="

After that we rushed home to change our clothes to attend a friend's Birthday dinner. And guess what, our family was seated with the family of my school teacher-Puan Jasminder (sorry for spelling error). Crazy coincidence huh? It happens all the time but that's another story...

#Next morning, i was rudely awakened when my mom bursted into the room shouting:"Why are you still in bed?? You need to be at aunty Chang's place at 10! And the boys are coming in 5 minutes!!" Darn...i wish Rayne has his driver's licence so we don't have to fetch him and his buddies all the time. Anyway, we went to aunty Chang's for Christmas dinner practice which can be a long, torturous experience.

Then we rushed off to Rayne's house for a gathering lunch. I would have stayed longer but aunty Chang insisted we head back to my home for MORE practice with the rest of the 'band'. Ah, woe is me...

Later, we rushed off(again) to the Chinese church for dinner in thanksgiving to the success of the NEWSTART charity bazaar. The food was vegetarian which is not always appetizing to me, no offence. The real annoying thing is that the church consists mainly of elderly folk who keep telling my grandma how tall I am. Can't blame them, most of them are shrinking.

#In conclusion, don't blame me if I sleep for 10 hours today~!
